The National Credit Union Foundation improves people’s financial lives through credit unions across the country. We partner with NCUF on Biz Kid$, a financial literacy initiative that teaches kids about money and business. Additionally, through CUAid, we partner to convene resources to help credit union people nationwide recover from major disasters.
Fostering strong partnerships to further our community impact
We believe that in order to successfully accomplish our goals, it’s important to build, maintain, and grow valuable partnerships with other organizations that share our values. Our partners are focused on increasing financial capabilities through education and volunteerism. Their support and participation in our mission is critical to drive impact in communities across the Northwest.
The Northwest Credit Union Association is one of our most essential partners in these efforts. As the trade association representing over 175 credit unions throughout Idaho, Oregon, and Washington, NWCUA is the unifying voice, communicating the Credit Union Difference with state and federal legislators and advocating on behalf of Northwest credit unions’ 7.3 million members. The Foundation and the NWCUA convene credit unions with strategic partners so that collectively, we may strengthen the financial lives of credit union members and their communities.
Financial Beginnings is a community- and volunteer-operated organization dedicated to delivering financial education to the Pacific Northwest’s youth. The program trains volunteers to become subject matter experts, sharing their knowledge with local classrooms and community groups.
Junior Achievement's purpose is to inspire and prepare young people to succeed in a global economy. We partner with them to further their work in Idaho, Oregon, and Washington communities around financial literacy, work-readiness, life skills, and business economics.
