Rallying together in times of crisis |
The Northwest sees its share of natural disasters, including wildfires, floods, and ice storms. To provide much-needed disaster relief, credit unions regularly step up, donating generously to the region’s communities. Credit unions work in partnership with the Northwest Credit Union Foundation to deliver on the “People Helping People” philosophy. The Northwest Credit Union Foundation expresses its sincere gratitude to the generous donors who have contributed to its Disaster Relief Fund — it’s a powerful demonstration of the cooperative spirit credit unions are known for.
Your donation to the Foundation’s Disaster Relief Fund will provide much needed support for credit unions, employees, and volunteers impacted by natural disasters across the Northwest. Similar to the National Credit Union Foundation, the Northwest Credit Union Foundation prioritizes funding in this order:
The National Credit Union Foundation, in collaboration with PSCU and CU-Apps, has launched a disaster recovery app to streamline and connect credit unions with one another when disasters strike to quickly coordinate resources. If you are in need of generators, mobile ATMs, burner phones or have some to spare, this app is a great resource.
If you are experiencing any immediate needs, please reach out to the Foundation team. Let us know how we can help!
Please join NWCUF in providing financial assistance and support to our credit union families who have been impacted by natural disasters across the Northwest.
